GoPro HERO (2018)

GoPro has just released their latest models and there is a ton that we love. First off, the price point. At $199, this is an attractive offer for people who were balking at $300+ for older models and saying 'my phones camera is fine.' The Hero shoots HD video at 1440p and 1080p at 60 frames per second, can take stills up to 10-megapixels and has added an electronic video stabilization system to keep quality maximized even during the most extreme circumstances. This model includes a 2-inch touch display, voice controls, waterproofing to 10 meters and backwards compatibility with all mounting hardware and accessories. If you're looking to upgrade your existing GoPro or need something new to film your adventures, the Hero ticks all the boxes.

QC-1 Cryptocurrency Heater
Unless you've been living under a rock the past year, you've undoubtedly heard about cryptocurrency. And you've most likely also heard about that 15 year old kid next door that is now a millionaire thanks to his crypto 'mining' rig. The one thing about crypto mining, however, is that it uses a LOT of computing power and generates a ton of heat. So what did the guys over at Qarnot do? They decided to take advantage of both the demand for crypto mining and the side effects of generating hashes all day and created the QC-1 Crypto Heater. This space heater uses a pair of graphics cards that are capable of mining up to 60 MH/s while producing enough heat to warm your home. They describe it as 'a source of revenue, not an expense.' We love it.
