Rugged case maker OtterBox is expanding outside of their bulletproof phone cases with this new line of waterproof dufflebags. Dubbed the Yampa Dry, these bags are of a TPU-coated nylon construction and feature waterproof zippers, sealed seams, multiple tie-down points and a pair of backpack straps that double as handles. A reflective sheen allows for safe travel at night as well as 360 degree visibility. The bag is available in 3 sizes: 35-liter, 70-liter and 105-liter.
Massdrop x Naked & Famous 14-Oz Selvage Denim
Looking to upgrade your daily denim? Check out this selvage jean collaboration between Massdrop and Naked & Famous. They've used a custom rope-dyed selvage from Okayama, Japan that has been woven on vintage shuttle looms. The result is a yarn that has waves, bumps and different thicknesses throughout. These are a bit heavier than your typical Levis and they take around 3 to 4 weeks to break in. Like all raw denim, these get better with age and after a few weeks the rigid, durable fabric will produce wear patterns that reflect your own style and use.
Vollebak Graphene Jacket
Graphene is one of the most indestructible and incredible materials known to man; in fact it was actually discovered by Nobel Prize winners in 2010 so you know this is a legit material. Vollebak has taken this fabric and created a ten layer composite that is touted as being more bulletproof than steel and used it to coat their jackets for this upcoming experimental prototype. Each jacket - which comes exclusively in a black Graphene - is one part coat, one part science experiment and one part beta testing of one of the most exciting fabrics being used in menswear. The jacket will launch in the summer of 2018 and the waiting list is currently open on Vollebak's website.
