One of today's hottest car companies is taking it to the waters with this unique collaboration. Lost Surfboard's and world-renowned shaper Matt "Mayhem" Biolos have teamed up with Tesla to create a surfboard as beautiful and efficient as the vehicles created by Elon. Made from the same matte and gloss finishes that are used on Tesla's cars, the deck is then finished and reinforced by a light-weight "Black Dart" carbon fiber. The board can fit comfortably in Model S, Model X and the Model 3 and is limited to only 200 units. For the surfer looking for a one of a kind piece.....and they're already SOLD OUT!
MUJI Handy Paper Shredder
We picked one of these manual shredders from MUJI a few weeks ago and everyone in the office is loving it. There is something oddly satisfying from using this to shred mail. Its cathartic - almost therapeutic. One of our interns said her stress levels have gone down and that it was her 'meditation.' Crazy right? Now don't get us wrong - if you have a ton of mail to shred, it will take forever to shred. And thicker card stock won't work. But for that rainy sunday afternoon when you need to shred up a few envelopes or bills, this inexpensive shredder is a delight to pull out. Makes a great gift too.
Fastest Race Bike Ever? Specialized Venge Road Bike
At $12,500, the Specialized Venge is being dubbed "the new shape of speed" and for that pricepoint, it better! This purpose-built road bike is Specialized's latest take and features cutting edge aerodynamic tweaks, weight savings, a new cockpit and more. The cockpit contains an internally routed Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 shifting and the bars are '"faster, lighter and stiffer" than previous iterations. The Roval CLX 64 disc wheels are the fastest and most efficient in crosswinds that they've tested and with their recent savings of 460 grams on overall weight, its one of the lightest out there too. For those of you who aren't satisfied with the second fastest, the Venge can be yours for the price of a small Kia. so the new Specialized Venge had better be fast. And the California bikemaker isn’t shy about saying just that, calling its latest bike “the new shape of speed.”
